Match day is almost here...

 ...and no one is sleeping. Monday is the day when we find out IF we matched, then we have to wait until Friday to find out WHERE we matched. All of my med school friends and my family alike have been waiting for this week to come for so long now, but now that it's almost here the anxiety is totally settling in! Up until now we could imagine all of these possibilities - starting fresh in a new city, moving to a city where we have great friends, or staying in Connecticut and not dramatically uprooting our lives...but come next week these hypothetical scenarios will be a thing of the past and it will be time to make some plans!! The match is binding: wherever I match, I am committed to go there. I'm lucky that I had some awesome programs to choose from and I know that wherever I end up I'll make the best of it...but I still can't sleep!

Some of my friends are also going for ObGyn (so we could even end up at the same program, which would be fun), while other friends are going for different specialties. I sooo can't wait to hear where they will be too! Stay tuned for updates next week!!
