The Levine's get a Christmas tree!

It's not the first year for the Levine's to have a Christmas tree...but it was the first time we picked out and cut down our own tree!
(Thanks to the crew at Uncle Dave's tree farm in Valle Crucis, NC)

In other exciting news...this holiday season is especially special for the Levine's because we get to share that there's another bear cub due to join the clan this spring!
We can't wait for HER to get here!

A perfect fall weekend in NC

I'm way behind on blog posts here... a lot has happened in the last few months and I still feel like I'm catching up on sleep!

Nikhil and Victor came to visit us in our new home in Charlotte! Despite them living overseas for the past few years, we have tried really hard to stay close and to make sure that Victor and Dylan know each other. It had been a while since we hung out, so we were thrilled to see that Victor and Dylan did not forget each other and were so happy to be back together...cousins acting like siblings, Dylan calling for "Bic-tore" and bringing him to her play room to share her toys, Victor chasing after Dylan when she tried to run away at the outdoor festival. Here are a few pics that captured some of those sweet moments together!

Poor David!

Oh and the adults did get to sneak away to see Hamilton! Thanks David for somehow finding those tickets...it was an awesome show, definitely recommend it! All we were missing was our Keri!

The hardest thing about being a resident...

...is missing out on family get togethers, especially when we're celebrating a soon-to-arrive baby and an engagement!!!

Tracy and Cliff are expecting their little boy Chase to arrive May 13th. What a beautiful mom-to-be! Here are a couple pics from her baby shower.

The next day, Dave popped the question to my cousin Ally in front of the whole family!!! Way to go Dave!! Someone caught it on video (here) too. Despite Ally's perfect manicure, she says she had no idea it was coming.

So happy for everyone, and so sad to have missed the festivities.

Love you all!

#neveragain

Today is the March for our Lives in DC. Being from the neighboring town of where the tragic Sandy Hook shooting took place almost 5 years ago, and of course having many amazing school-aged kids in our family, this issue is something that we care very much about. Here are our marchers heading out this morning...

A Shower for Sheela in Charlottesville

Say that ten times fast!

We're so excited to meet baby Linstrum. Here are a few pics from the baby shower we threw for Sheela at her lovely home in Charlottesville. I remember being so touched by the outpouring of love and excitement at Dylan's shower, I could tell Sheela was equally as impressed. Hurry up baby L, we're anxiously awaiting your arrival.
